Internet security firm creates jobs in Dublin

Total Defense hiring 100 in Dublin

Up to 100 jobs are expected to be created in a US internet security company in Dublin.

Total Defense Internet Security is setting up its European Operations Hub in Ballsbridge.
It develops anti-virus and anti-crimeware software for businesses and consumers.
The jobs will be in sales, operations and customer support. The company has already recruited 21 people.

President of Total Defense Chris Hickey said: “We are very excited about our expansion into the European market and Dublin will be at the very centre of our new business generation and support.”

IDA chief executive Barry O’Leary said the Dublin hub will be integral to the company’s global expansion plans.

Additional recruiting will be in the areas of inside sales, operations and customer support.

Total Defense is a leading developer and provider of antivirus and anti-crimeware software for both business and consumer markets. Its product lines cover every device from desktop to mobile with multi-layered solutions for endpoints, networks and groupware systems.
